Abstract:-
Although the price of the heat treatment method is simply a minor portion of the overall cost, it is arguably the foremost vital and crucial stage on the determination of fabric quality. Within the study of the carbon diffusion in H13 steel throughout austenitization, a series of heat treatment experiments had been conducted beneath totally different part conditions and length of treatment. Four austenitization part conditions were studied, i.e., heat treatment while not part management, heat treatment with stainless steel foil wrapping, pack carburization heat treatment and vacuum heat treatment. The results showed that chrome steel foil wrapping might prohibit decarburization method, leading to a relentless hardness profile as vacuum heat treatment will. However, the tempering characteristic between these 2 heat treatment strategies is totally different. Results from the gas compound samples showed that the thickness and therefore the hardness of the compound layer is freelance of the carbon content in H13 steel.
