Archiving Policy
Ensuring long-term preservation and open access to scholarly publications.
RAME Publishers is a ‘green’ publisher, allowing self-archiving of accepted and published papers through its open access policy. Authors retain the copyright of their work and can archive pre-print, post-print, or publisher’s version (PDF) in personal or institutional repositories without seeking permission from the journal or publisher.
Authors of published articles in RAME journals are entitled to deposit their accepted manuscripts or the final version of record in institutional and/or central repositories. These can be made publicly available immediately upon publication, provided that the journal title and RAME Publishers are cited as the original source, and accurate citation details are given.
Upon acceptance, authors should include the following statement when making their article publicly available:
“This article has been accepted for publication in [Journal Title], published by RAME Publishers.”
Authors may also make their published articles publicly accessible immediately after publication on repositories, libraries, or personal websites. In such cases, the published PDF and URL of the original article must be included, along with a full citation acknowledging RAME Publishers as the original publisher.
Digital Archiving and Preservation
To ensure long-term preservation of published scholarly content, RAME Publishers deposits metadata of all its journals to trusted repositories such as Internet Archive, PKP PN, and WorldCat Digital Collection Gateway. This ensures that all content remains permanently accessible to the academic community even in the event of accidental data loss.
All metadata of open access journals published by RAME Publishers is compliant with recognized repository standards, enabling digital preservation services and crawlers to regularly collect and store records for future reference and accessibility.
