Academic Background & Professional Experience
Dr. Jagdish D. Kene earned his Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Electronics Engineering in 2001 from Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Gondia, affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. He completed his Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Electronics Engineering in 2005 from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur. He was awarded his Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering in 2014 from the prestigious Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
Presently, Dr. Kene is associated with Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (now Ramdeobaba University), Nagpur, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He possesses over 20+ years of dedicated experience in academic pedagogy, engineering research, and scholarly administration. His primary research domains center on Wireless Communication Networks, Digital Signal Processing, and Cognitive Radio Systems.
Scholarly Contributions & Professional Recognitions
Dr. Kene has published 20+ research papers in indexed international and national journals, 10 papers in peer-reviewed international conference proceedings, and presented over 20 papers in technical conferences across India. In intellectual property, he holds 1 Patent and 5 Registered Copyrights to his credit.
He actively serves as an invited peer reviewer for leading international journals, including the International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies (SCI-indexed), Wireless Personal Communications (Springer, Scopus-indexed), International Journal of Computer Applications, and International Journal of Electronics and Communications. He is a recognized Life Member of professional engineering bodies including the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (IRED), and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
